I’ve decided to do my very first give-away! YAY!!!
I like to talk about happiness. I’ve learned that my own happiness effects those around me. I’ve learned that in general, I’m a happy person…but I could be happier. I could not sweat the small stuff. I could be sweeter to those around me. I could be kinder to myself. I’ve spent the last few weeks (more like months) reading working my way through Gretchen Rubin’s book The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun.
Like me, or most of us, Gretchen was a happy person, but realized she could be happier. So she embarked on a research project of her very own…and thankfully, wrote a book sharing the details with the world!! She did a year long happiness project! It took me a while to read it because at first I didn’t want to believe that I could relate to Gretchen. But…in all honesty…I needed to not only read it…but I’m planning a happiness project of my very own for 2017. (I’ll share more about that down the road!) Gretchen has since written a few more books on the subject of happiness, Happier at Home and Better than Before.
So, what book am I giving away??
I’m giving away ONE copy of Gretchen Rubin’s Happier at Home: Kiss More, Jump More, Abandon Self-Control, and My Other Experiments in Everyday Life.
Why am I giving away this particular book?
Well…first of all…I love it! Her writing is conversational and real. It hits close to home for so many of us! In a world where life is busy and hectic and we run here and there and try to make so many people happy…we often forget what’s important…being happy right in our homes. Our family. Us!
In the book Gretchen expands on her original happiness project and takes it a step further. She’s not only focusing on how to be happier herself, but how to make her home a place of comfort and love.
SO…how can YOU win this book?
In the comment section below, share something that makes YOU happy!! I’m also going to share to my Facebook page…and you can comment on there as well!! THEN on Wednesday (10/12) at 7PM (CDT), I will randomly select ONE winner to enjoy this book!
The smile I get to see every morning from my son as I wake him up.

Oh and then this morning when he woke up and said,”today is the day Mama. You’re princess dress will arrive.” Then he brushed my hair and made another attempt to get me ready for the “event”…I’m still waiting for my dress. I did get cake for the occasion though.:)
