I just wanted to take a moment to share a few photos with y’all from our weekend adventure. We happened upon this beautiful little spot by accident. What a gorgeous reminder of God’s blessings!
Alley Spring and Grist Mill is a cute little historic site that sits just outside of Eminence, Missouri. Sometime around the 1830’s the area became home to European settlers. Eventually a settlement grew and the first mill was built in 1868. Then the current mills was built in 1894 by George McCaskill and J.H. Whitacre. The mill was considered “high tech” for it’s day. It served to process local grain into flour, and corn into meal. I believe the spring puts out around 81 million gallons of water a day! It was quite the sight!
*None of these photos have been edited in any way…this beauty is all natural!!!*
