“Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.” ~ Ralph Marston
Where in the world has the month of March gone? In my happiness project, it has clearly gotten away from me. Here we are, nearing the end of the month and I’ve barely committed to my March goal. The month of March was supposed to be focused on all things blogging…I think I may have failed! But, I think I’m going to cut myself some slack, and here’s why!
I have made some progress on the blog, and even minimal progress is still moving forward. I spent some time with a web developer (a total hottie by the way, so it was hard to get work done) discussing the changes and direction the blog is heading. The meeting was fruitful. Changes were made. Pages were added. You might even notice something brand new, and that’s the addition of Cynefin Farm!

Cynefin Farm is an extension of Mountain Wife. Cynefin (pronounced kin-ef-in) is a Welsh word that means haunt, habitat, acquainted and familiar, but yet is about more than just a place. It’s the relationship one has with a place where they feel at home. For us, that is our homestead in the middle of the Ozarks. Cynefin Farm is still in it’s infancy and will continue to grow over the next few months, even years, but that is where we will bring you products made with love from our homestead. (New products arriving soon!!) It’s a beginning, and beginnings are usually messy and scary, but it’s an adventure we love.
March has also given me a case of Spring Fever! You can read about my history with Spring Fever here. Spring in the Ozarks feels like summer most days, so I find myself daydreaming, and planning and plotting adventures. (It’s a good thing I don’t have a window in my direct line of vision at work!) And boy do we have some adventures line up over the next few months that I cannot wait to share with you all!
Do you suffer from Spring Fever? What adventures do you have planned in the weeks to come? I’d love to hear from you!
