Hey y’all!  The past week or so has been a whirlwind with having both boys here for vacation, but I wanted to take a moment to share with you a few things that I am loving this week.

We could NOT stop playing Cards Against Humanity!  We might be a little late to the party, but I don’t think that I have ever laughed so hard playing a game. The game is definitely not for the easily offended, but we certainly enjoyed one-upping each other and making the card czar laugh!  You can pick your game up here.

We visited an Escape Room here in Springfield in hopes of finding a cool place (both literally and figuratively) for some family entertainment.  It was exciting and challenging.  We opted for a room called “The Cure” where we were tasked with finding the antidote to cure a widespread virus in one hour.  The antidote had the passcode for the lock on the door.  So find the cure and escape the room! Sounds easy peasy! It wasn’t quite as easy as we expected, but we were able to find the cure with time to spare! And, I can’t lie, I did find myself getting caught up in the whole storyline, stressing whether or not we would be successful! If you have an escape room near  you…grab a group of people and get there…FAST!!!

I recently upgraded to a Nikon DSLR 3400, and it was the best decision ever! Of course, I had no clue how to use it, I’ve only ever used a point and shoot style Canon. I took an online course on using the various features, bought a book, and now I am not restricted to the Auto mode. If you are looking to upgrade your camera set up, check out this amazing kit.

Finally, it’s been wonderful to have both of our kiddos here with us, and we squeezed in as much family time as we could.

I hope y’all are enjoying your summer adventures!

Until Next Time: Peace, Love and Adventures!
