Spring has finally begun here in Southwest Michigan! YAY! (Although there’s a chance we may see some snowflakes over the next two weeks, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t!) The yard was full of happy singing birds. The river was full of boaters. The sun was shining. It was the perfect day for a stroll along the lake.

One of my favorite things to do is walk along the beach, looking for unique rocks and “sea” glass, even cute pieces of driftwood, while the rays of the shining sun warm my face and sound of the waves quiets my mind. I have a growing collection of Lake Michigan rocks that will be turned into jewelry.

The driftwood jewelry bar is one of my favorite “found” things that I upcycled! Crazy easy and insanely cute! The driftwood was the perfect length and shape, a little jute twine and ta-da!
The first time I found “sea” glass, I was lucky enough to find a piece that was both beautiful and a bit larger! Most of the glass I’ve found is too small to be turned into a pendant like this one! Wrapped in copper and placed on a copper chain, its the perfect statement piece!
As the weather continues to warm up, I’m looking forward to experiencing more of what beautiful Southwest Michigan has to offer! PLUS, we are getting ready to move out of our temporary condo, and into a sweet cottage…which means…we will soon be surrounded by our OWN belongings! Woot Woot! What are YOU looking forward to most this Spring? Drop me a comment below and let me know!
Until Next Time: Peace, Love & Adventures
